Eagle Ridge Bluffs Protesters taken down

Saturday, May 27, 2006
Chris has a great writeup on the take down of the people protesting the over land route for the sea to sky highway in west vancouver. I definatly agree with his assesments.

Those pesky Emerson Whiners

Monday, April 03, 2006
Why don't the people of Vancouver-Kingsway go find something better to do? So what the NDP lost, suck it up. Nobody got that upset when Belinda Stronach crossed the floor, and we all know that she just wants to line her self up for the party leadership.

Emerson is a different kind of person. A well respected business man that crossed the house to go and sit with the government because he thought that it would be in the best interests of his constituents.

It should all be left alone. Give him some time in Ottawa and see if he can be effective. After all, if he gets the job done, and serves the people of Vancouver-Kingsway, then he is doing his job and thats all the constituents can ask of him. It dosen't matter what party he is with.

Protesters that want to recall David Emerson, listen up!

Friday, March 10, 2006
In case you havn't been fallowing the embattled minister responsible for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, you may not know that members of the NDP are trying to have him recalled for crossing the floor from the opposition, to sit with the government.

In David Emersons riding, the NDP think that they can win if it goes to a recall. So needless to say they are working hard to run a smear campaign. The liberals are too disorganized, the Conservatives are the ones who are embroiled in the controversay. So that leaves the NDP. UGH!

Well I've got news for the NDP. The Electorate vote for the person NOT the Party. It appears on the surface that we do vote for the party, and hence the party leader to be the Prime Minister, but that is not the way it actually works.

It is the governor general of Canada, who represents the Soverign (The Queen) who selects the prime minister. Who normally comes from the party with the most seats.

So in short, vote for the person next time, and not the party!

Questioning Ethics

Thursday, March 09, 2006
Its Laughable that the Liberals think that they can question the Torries about ethics. Specifically dealing with an MP crossing the floor from the opposition to sit with the government in exchange for a cabinet post.

Does this sound familiar? Didn't Belinda Stronach do this very thing just last year? I guess things are different now that the shoes are on the different feet.

Or is it that the ethics commisioner was appointed by the last, crooked government?

So the new govenor general is in town....

Tuesday, March 07, 2006
So the new govenor general is in town, and so what.... At least this one is not staying in the most expensive hotel in Victoria.

I however found it more amusing that Global BC thought that NDP MP Libby Davies was the best person to talk to about Government Waste..... (oohhh the irony is killing me).

I'll spare you my "Harvey Oberfeld is a big union boosting twat" rant today... I might do that one tommorow. It just depends if I am allowed to watch the news again, as I tend to yell at the TV.

A new politcal party

Thursday, February 09, 2006
I have an idea for a new politcal party for Canada. It still needs a name, but here are some key platform initiatives.

1. An end to welfare. If you are able bodied, you will be put to work on a national highway revitalization plan.

2. An end to Canada's apologizing for the sins of the forefather. ie: no special prviliges for a group because they claim to be here first :)

3. Balanced Budget.

4. Lower Taxes

5. Criminal Justice reform. Mandatory Minimun scentances.

6. Total Public health care reform. Hospitals will get money based on how well they perform. While still remaining free for Canadians.

7. Strengthen our Armed forces.

any other suggestions?

Can West Global can eat my balls

Wednesday, February 08, 2006
Can west global, eat my balls.
Kevin Newman, eat my balls.

I guess the media has never claimed to be fair and balanced, but we expect them to be. However, you could see their anti-conservative bias all throughout the recent Canadian Election. When the party leaders were interviewed by Global National's anchor, Kevin Newman, he asked questions such as: "Has this taken a toll on your family" "Whats the best part of being on the road" BUT!!!! When it came to talk to Harper (conservative leader) he asked questions like: "Do you support a womans right to choose" "How will you keep the power from going to your head" he did not ask the other leaders such harsh questions.

I suspect it might have something to do with the Conservatives wanting to open up the Canadian TV market to more competition, but this is just hearsay. I suspect the Can West leadership is a big Liberal backer, and are just "trying to help" (Themselves!).

Pigs....
